INTRODUCTION TO THE AVIATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
The KIC Advanced Diploma in Aviation Management is a specialized business programme concerned with providing an industry-immersive experience in aspects of airport and airline business operations. The programme aims to provide a good understanding of the aviation industry, the rationales of airport operation management, airport planning and designs, airline yield management, airline fleet planning, route management and scheduling, passenger and cargo operations, air transport safety, security and emergency planning, sustainable development of air transport, as well as the strategies for airlines ands airport operators.
Currently, Kent International College is a training institution providing high-quality human resources for the aviation industry in Vietnam.
STRENGTHS OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM
- The program is built and designed according to UK QAA standards (The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in the UK).
- The curriculum is approved and issued by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and IATA (International Air Transport Association).
- The training program meets NCFE standards, recognized by UK educational organizations, making it easy for graduates to pursue further studies at universities in the United Kingdom.
- The Advance Diploma Level 5 in Aviation Management from Both Kent International College and NCFE are recognized by universities in the UK and some other countries that use the UK's evaluation system such as Canada, Singapore, and Australia.
- The entire training program will be taught in English (except for general education subjects), ensuring that students will be well-equipped with English proficiency equivalent to at least IELTS 5.5 upon completion, sufficient for communication in businesses and further studies abroad.
- Students who have not met the English entry requirement will take preparatory English courses GE 1, 2, 3 for 3 to 9 months. While students hold an IELTS 5.5 certificate or equivalent are exempt from the English entry requirement.
- Students with English proficiency equivalent to B1/IELTS 4.5 will start studying the major and continue with advanced academic English to achieve B2/IELTS 5.5 within 7 semesters.
- The NCFE International Program will last 1 to 2 semesters longer than the Regular High-Quality Programs to enhance academic English for students.
